Our employees are the backbone of our organization and our most important asset. EMI makes providing and working in a safe environment our top priority. As such, we have in place a comprehensive job site safety program where the main objective is to train to our standards and instill in every staff member the importance of maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
EMI’s commitment to safety extends through all ranks, from management to field personnel to office staff. We begin each construction season with a mandatory full-staff safety meeting where we review our safety program and conduct specialized safety trainings. All EMI field personnel have completed the requirements for the OSHA 10 Hour Course, and project superintendents and foremen attend OSHA and industry-sponsored safety training sessions regularly. Additionally, we hold weekly project meetings where safety is discussed and we conduct safety audits and incident monitoring throughout the year.
